What is the Lion Swimming Club?

The Lion Swimming Club is based in The Eltham Centre, 2 Archery Road, Eltham, London SE9 1HA and is for anyone with a permanent physical, mental or sensory disability. Age does not matter, all are welcome. Members can enjoy our sessions to swim, exercise or just have fun.

There are no subscription charges or session fees (members can make donations to the club at sessions) but members are required to purchase a Greenwich Card (you need to inform the Eltham Centre that you belong to the Lion Swimming Club). The club is affiliated to NASCH, The National Association of Swimming Clubs for the Handicapped. The Lion Swimming Club has a committee of both disabled and able-bodied members who meet on a regular basis to discuss the general running of the club. We have an AGM, usually in March and audited accounts are published.
